Waiting on DNS propagation after DNS verification was successful

I’m able to verify my DNS via Netlify. However, if I refresh the page I still see “Waiting on DNS propagation”.

hi there, have long have you been waiting? DNS really can take 24-48 hours to propagate, so if it hasn’t been that long, we’d ask you to wait a little longer.

Thanks for the reply! We updated DNS over 12 hours ago via GoDaddy, and can see that DNS has propagated across different networks.

Our concern is that this is an existing domain, so all traffic is currently seeing an SSL error.

Is there anything I can do on my end? Should I lower the TTL for my records?

Our system continued to try to fetch a certificate in the meantime and it finally worked.

Adjusting TTL after the fact won’t help anything; adjusting in advance is the way to prevent such delays in the future:
