Hello, I was just wondering how to correctly add a DNS record to point to mysitename.netlify.com from my domain, offthethreads.com. I have tried what feels like all the solutions and I can’t get the correct record to work. I have even checked the DNS lookup sites and propagation websites to make sure that the DNS records have taken into affect, however, I still am getting a privacy error when I type in offthethreads.com on my computer.
For reference, I am currently using Digital Ocean’s DNS Management and nameservers and can include the records that I am using:
- A Record, Hostname: offthethreads.com → Netlify Load Balancer (104.198.14.52)
- CNAME Record, Hostname: www.offthethreads.com → alias of mynetlifywebsite.
- A Record, Hostname: api.offthethreads.com → mydigitaloceandroplet
