Netlifyctl deploy skipping images

Hi,

I use netlifyctl deploy --publish-directory static-site/ to publish a static site from within a docker container but some files are missing on the published site.
It looks like every image which is used with an img tag is published but the rest is skipped.
how can i tell netlifyctl to publish all files?

Thanks!

We deploy the files that are in that directory (and its subdirectories). It Doesn’t matter if or how you reference them in your site’s html or javascript or CSS code.

Are you sure they are in that directory and not outside of it somewhere (e.g ../asset.png)? In the case of netlifyctl (which by the way has been improved on greatly in our new JS-based CLI: https://www.netlify.com/docs/cli/) symlinks do NOT count as “present in that directory” - the files must be there directly.
