My Site on custom domain stopped working suddenly

Yes I am thinking same. I bought it from hostinger

hi folks, welcome to community. These forums are staffed with support engineers as well :slight_smile:
can you both please tell me which netlify site names and custom domains this is regarding?

we can’t troubleshoot anything without knowing what to look at, thanks!

Didnt know about the support engineers here in forum

can you please look into the below site

hi aditya, can you please post your DNS settings here?

I am using bigrock for domain name
i have pointed cname to --> name -> www
value ->
and a record to -->

hi @Aditya, if bigrock is your DNS server, then it is likely that that is where the problem is. Can you clarify whether you are bigrock for your DNS or Netlify? thanks.

Hey Perry, my site is

I am using netlify DNS.

@perry here is my dns setting

You need to point the DNS records for covidindia to Netlify. They are currently pointed elsewhere. I’m not seeing any name servers.

Check your settings. I’m not seeing any DNS records for covidupdate that point to Netlify.

It looks as though you need either to get things straightened out with Bigrock, or move your DNS to Netlify.

The nameservers pointing to netlify. I also looked into ICANN. Here is the screenshot of the same

Note there are no name servers listed.

You can double-check here:

Don’t use whois to check your DNS settings, use dig, or one of the many free online propagation checkers.

Thank you for your response. Just checked with the registrar the status of the domain is suspended, I filled an appeal for that, hope it will resolve soon. No issue with netlify.

I have bought new domain but facing new issue
https error potential risk
letsencrypt error if u guys can help ? @gregraven

in domain managements its showing old custom domain

error : doesn’t appear to be served by Netlify

We can’t renew your Let’s Encrypt certificate automatically until the issue is resolved. Check our troubleshooting guide for more information on how to fix the problem, and then renew the certificate.

https certificate error(letsencrypt)
as user try to visit site it shows error
@perry @gregraven or anyone who can help

Now your site shows DNS servers, but they are not Netlify’s. Also, I’m not seeing a CNAME set up to point to Netlify, and you have two A records, one of which is Netlify’s and the other of which is someone else (maybe Namecheap?).

You have to get the DNS entries correct before you get your SSL certificate.

I have removed namecheap a record
cname is already present
name -> www
value ->
using namecheap basic dns

Now you have to wait for your changes to propagate. This can take up to 48 hours.

Thanks for the help @gregraven @perry

Hi, @Aditya, the SSL certificate and custom domain are working now when I test. Are you seeing the same? Is the issue resolved when you test also?
