Issue Deploying Hugo Site On Netlify

I’m having trouble getting my website to reflect the changes to a Hugo theme, when deploying onto Netlify.

I’m using the Hallo theme from Hugo and when testing locally, all is fine.

However, when deployed on Netlify, the theme remains unchanged.

The current makeup of the repo is:

Please advise.

Hi there,

can you look at your build dashboard and let us know if you see any build errors and post them here, please?

Is there anything you have already tried and what happened when you did so?

I received a message from Netlify and their suspicion of my local files not being saved onto Git is correct.

Any idea of what I should next?

Hi Ryan,

I assume you mean you opened a support request with Netlify? or do you have another thread going where someone from our team gave you that info? We just want to make sure we aren’t duplicating efforts by answering the same questions in multiple places .

Are you using a git submodule for your theme? or did you copy the theme in to your site’s repo?
