Image gets 404 in preview build

Recently pushed a build preview and am getting a 404 for our dark mode logo
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 ()
even though the image should be there. It is working fine locally. We saw something similar to this before on our develop branch and pushed it through anymore and it ended up working fine, checking to see if that is the case here before pushing it live. I tried clearing cache and deploying again with no luck, also tried different browsers and networks.

any chance the reference to the image is differently cased than the file on our cdn?

confirmed it is cased the same in repo as it is in the config file

hmm. can you point to exactly where the issue occurs? I am not seeing it personally, but maybe i am looking in the wrong place?
