I can’t upload new informations to my website. I saw that free domains have changed to “.app”. After that no more uploads have work. I’ve tried to deploy it without success.
Error mensage:
hey victor, can you give us a little more information please? which site is this concerning, and how are you trying to deploy?
Hey @VictorCarreira,
It looks like your deploys broke sometime in April. Here’s your last successful deploy:
The following one failed with this error, which has to do with Hugo templates:
8:50:36 PM: Error: Error building site: failed to render pages: render of "home" failed: "/opt/build/repo/layouts/index.html:44:25": execute of template failed: template: index.html:44:25: executing "index.html" at <.Paginate>: error calling Paginate: invoked multiple times with different arguments
Please let us know if you continue to run into issues after fixing that error.
I’ve moved this thread out of Changes coming to Netlify site URLs: .com to .app - #93 since it seems like a separate issue.
Hi @jen.
The issue is in “index.html” and I have take a look. It is located in SCwebsite/layouts at master · Student-Chapter-2020/SCwebsite · GitHub but it is the same as original hugo-theme-air/layouts at master · syui/hugo-theme-air · GitHub that I have based on.
Going back to the commit where your deploys broke, you have a slug with a space in it:
Could you try lower-casing and removing the space (so, topic-1
) and seeing if that improves anything for you?
Hello @jen. I have make a test using english lower-cases letters in that specific commit. But didn’t work it out.
I have changed “Topic 1” to “topic-1”. Here is my last deploy log.

This message really caught my eye.
hey there, it looks like this might be an issue with the Speedcurve plugin.
You’d want to reach out to the plugin author to see if they have some ideas for you on what might be causing this!
