HTML File Name Equal?

Lets say that I have a site at https://example.netlify.com/ and the nav elements are set to go to the homepage and another page on the site (media for example)
But my code has it set to index.html and media.html for the nav links. When I enable netlify pretty assets, it renders the nav links as / and for media /media. Are they the same things if I changed the code to / and /media or would this cause conflicts.

Sounds like you have pretty URL’s configured, and that is the exact thing that feature does

But to answer your question, yes:

/ is equivalent to /index.html

and

/media is equivalent to media.html

That second one is only true as as long as you don’t have a /media/index.html file, though!
