Flaky GitHub status check reporting

The GitHub status checks for Header Rules, Mixed Content, and Redirect Rules are sometimes not showing up, even 15 minutes after the build finishes. I’ve had several builds with status checks looking like this:

Are you guys aware of this issue?

Experiencing the same in GitHub - mui/material-ui: MUI Core: Ready-to-use foundational React components, free forever. It includes Material UI, which implements Google's Material Design.. This is especially frustrating for bot PRs that could be automatically merged but aren’t because the checks are stuck in pending.

@eps1lon - do you have a deploy id for this you could share, please? We are currently gathering information on this issue - it seems to be sporadic and hard to pin down.

This is only a small sample. The check run includes a link to the netlify deploy. The actual checks on netlify complete. They just don’t report back to github that they completed.

Hi @yunyu and @eps1lon, good news! Our backend team has shipped an update that we hope will mitigate this problem. It won’t retroactively complete old checks, but should allow new checks to fully run. Please let us know if you continue to experience this issue.
