Does "Branded external OAuth integration" still mean zero-config?

When viewing the identity section of Netlify, I see that " Branded external OAuth integration." is offered with Level 1 identity. I’m curious if this still means that the identity is “zero-config”, or whether it requires me to provision my own token/account with the specific OAuth providers.

I have a decent understanding of OAuth but I thought the services.netlify.com was practically unavoidable (during the OAuth flow) because the OAuth credentials are registered for Netlify (and not my app). I would love to understand more about this feature and how it works. Thanks!

Hi @rylandg ,

That functionality is actually referring to Registration and login | Netlify Docs . It does require a small amount of config, since you have to provide your details for your accounts for us to use. Otherwise it’s still mostly “zero-config”.
