Custom Outgoing email address not workiing

I am trying to use a custom email address for sending out notifications using Identity, the emails working using the default but nothing happens if I try to use a custom email address. I have added an SPF record but the email is bouncing or just not sent for some reason. Anyone have any ideas on how to troubleshoot this problem?

Hi, what’s the site that you’re trying to set this up on? If you don’t want to publically share the domain, you can provide the site_id or app id for it.

We actually got it working yesterday, the email needed to be verified again by mandrill after we added the SPF record.
