Yup, @bennadel- what @Dennis said! Apologies for the confusion, totally my fault that I published that notice instead of creating a staff-only draft. The fix itself is written, but there’s some work around the fix still to be done. We’ll post again here when we’re rolling out the change.

If anyone is curious, now that Netlify has updated their body-encoding logic in Netlify Functions, my experiment was finally a success: Proxying Amazon AWS S3 Pre-Signed-URL Uploads Using Netlify Functions . This attempts to proxy AWS S3 pre-signed URLs through Netlify.
