Auth API not work with custom domain

Hello everyone :slight_smile:

On default Netlify domain wavepage.netlify.app my auth API works well.
On custom domain wavepage.app auth API Request failed with status code 400.

I set NDS to Netlify.

Can you please help me figured out what layer can be missing on a custom domain?
Thank you :slight_smile:

Hi @schitacci, I’m not sure what you mean by auth API. I don’t show that you are using Netlify Identity. Could you provide more information on the issue you are seeing? What do you mean by auth API? How do I reproduce the issue on my end so that I can help point you in the right direction?

Thanks!

Hello Dennis, I’m glad that you would try to help me.
Under “auth API” I mean using of GraphQL API build with AWS AppSync and AWS Cognito… I know lot of pre-build logic to find the error.

Seems like UI request from a custom domain not provide valid authorization header to GraphQL. But on Netlify basic domain authorization header is provided.

Thank you for your time :slight_smile:

"errors" : [ {
"errorType" : "UnauthorizedException",
"message" : "Valid authorization header not provided."

} ]

I’m not familiar with how you are set up. Could you point to live urls and steps to reproduce the issue? Are you using Netlify’s basic auth feature? If so, you’ll need to make sure all your requests have the username and password prefixed on your url like so: http://username:password@example.com/.
